If it is in RAJUK, you have to get clearance from RAJUK office from the same design approval branch. In addition, in case of "local government", building design clearance has to be obtained from the district office, upazila office and union office. These offices may vary according to the location of the land, but the clearance branch remains the same. And it is important to note that the building plan must be carried out by an IAB-registered architect. Because, whether your home plan has been done by a registered architect also depends on getting a clearance.

Regarding the height or floor of the building

According to the Floor Area Ratio (FAR) of the Building or Construction Act, the height of a building is determined only by looking at the amount of land, the width of the front road, etc. Then, clearance from the “Civil Aviation Authority” is required for floor height clearance. Although the height of the building depends on the amount of road in front of it. Suppose, if the road is more than 60 feet wide, then it is possible to build a building of any height according to FAR. Permission for this floor must be obtained from your "Design Approval Branch" and if it is in the vicinity of the airport, it must be cleared by Civil Aviation.
